Protection from cold and sun
Neoprene retains body heat and covers a large area of skin. It is a real plus for long days at the beach, alongside sunscreen on exposed areas.
Shorty or full suit?
The shorty suits warm water and beach games. The full suit is preferable for longer sessions or in cooler water. The type and thickness of each model are shown on the product page.
Choosing the right size
Choose according to the child’s height and weight, using the size guide. A wetsuit that is too big lets water flow through and keeps them less warm; a snug fit is better than a size “to grow into”.
Safety
A wetsuit is not a flotation device: on a paddle board, a kayak or a boat, the child also wears a kids’ life jacket and stays under adult supervision.
