Wakeboarding is done standing on a board with your feet held in bindings, towed by a boat or a cable park. Jumps, spins or simple runs across the wake: discover HANA Outdoors wakeboards.
Choosing your board size
Length is chosen mainly according to the rider’s weight. A longer board offers more lift and stability, ideal for beginners and heavier riders; a shorter board is more playful for tricks. See the sizing chart on each product page.
Boat or cable?
Behind a boat, the wake acts as a ramp. At a cable park, the cable pulls the rider around a circuit and the features let you progress in freestyle. Some boards are better suited to one or the other: check the product description.
Bindings
Bindings should hold the foot firmly without squeezing it. Their size and compatibility with the board are given on the product page.
Safety
Wear a buoyancy aid or life jacket and, if possible, a helmet. Behind a boat, a spotter keeps a constant eye on the rider. Start at a moderate speed on calm water. Find our wakeboard accessories and our wetsuits.
