Which buoyancy level?

Performance level is expressed in newtons. A 50 N buoyancy aid is suited to water sports close to shore where help is at hand: it allows great freedom of movement. For sailing further offshore, a higher-rated life jacket is required. The level of each model is shown on its product page.

Finding your size

Size is chosen by weight, then chest circumference. Once the straps are tightened, the jacket should stay firmly in place: it should not ride up to your chin when pulled upwards by the shoulders. See the size guide for each product.

Comfort and freedom of movement

For paddle boarding or kayaking, choose a cut that leaves your arms and shoulders free. Pockets let you carry a whistle or small items.

Care
