HANA Premium Wingfoil Waist Leash – Blue
The HANA Premium waist leash connects your waist to your wingfoil board. Worn around the waist, it keeps the cord behind you: it doesn’t get in the way of your feet or your manoeuvres, and your board stays within reach after a fall.
Key features
- Comfortable, low-profile belt: nylon covered in very soft neoprene.
- Stays in place: non-slip silicone coating inside the belt stops it rotating. The cord stays behind you.
- Straight 7' cord: 7 mm BASF TPU, very tough and low-drag in the water.
- Tangle-free: the double swivel stops the cord from looping.
- Two sizes: S/M and L/XL, to fit all builds.
Size guide
| Size | Waist circumference |
|---|---|
| S/M | 70 to 90 cm |
| L/XL | 90 to 110 cm |
Measure your waist where you will wear the belt, over your wetsuit. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.

FAQ
Why a waist leash for wingfoiling?
Attached at the waist rather than the ankle, it keeps the cord away from your feet and the foil. It’s the only thing connecting you to your board if you fall.
Which size should I choose?
S/M for a waist of 70 to 90 cm, L/XL for 90 to 110 cm, measured over your wetsuit.
What other equipment do I need?
A helmet is strongly recommended for foiling, along with a wetsuit suited to the water temperature.
